The show premiered on September 25, 2020 in 190 countries. The book has been a #1 national bestseller for many weeks and is a fantasy novel about spirits. The main character works as a school nurse who defeats ghosts to protect her school and her students. Author Chung’s other novels include 2012’s “The Only One on Earth.”

The School Nurse Files has a very interesting storyline because the monsters that the main character sees cannot be seen by other people at the school. She must defeat the spirits in the form of monsters before they hurt anyone else, and her funny and brave personality makes the audience feel attached to her as the story progresses. The Netflix series has increased popularity for the number of book sales, and they both have done very well on the market.
